Myanmar – Zimbabwe

ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်နှင့် ဇင်ဘာဘွေသမ္မတနိုင်ငံတို့သည် ၂၀၀၉ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လ ၂၇ ရက်နေ့တွင် နှစ်နိုင်ငံအပြန်အလှန် သံတမန်ဆက်ဆံရေးကို စတင် ထူထောင်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ၁၉၉၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၄ ရက်နေ့တွင် တောင်အာဖရိကနိုင်ငံ၊ ပရီတိုး ရီးယားမြို့၌ အခြေစိုက်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့သည့် မြန်မာသံရုံးသည် ဂါနာနိုင်ငံအား ပူးတွဲတာဝန်ယူ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။

၁၉၉၆ ခုနှစ်မှ စတင်၍ တောင်အာဖရိကသမ္မတနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးများ အဖြစ် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့သည့် သံအမတ်ကြီးများသည် ဂါနာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ သံအမတ်ကြီး အဖြစ် ပူးတွဲတာဝန်များ ထမ်းဆောင်လျက်ရှိကြပါသည်။ ဇင်ဘာဘွေနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ သံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့အခြေစိုက် တောင်အာဖရိကနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးမြင့်ဆွေက နောက်ဆုံးပူးတွဲတာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး ဇင်ဘာဘွေနိုင်ငံ ဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ခန့်အပ်လွှာအား ဇင်ဘာဘွေနိုင်ငံသမ္မတ H.E. Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa ထံသို့ ၁၉-၆-၂၀၁၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ဇင်ဘာဘွေသံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် နယူးဒေလီမြို့အခြေစိုက် ဇင်ဘာဘွေသံအမတ်ကြီး Mr. Maxwell Ranga က ပူးတွဲတာဝန်ယူဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Republic of Zimbabwe established diplomatic relations on 27 August 2009. The Embassy of Myanmar in Pretoria, Republic of South Africa — which was opened on 4 June 1996 — has been concurrently accredited to the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Since 1996, successive Ambassadors of Myanmar to the Republic of South Africa have also been concurrently accredited as Ambassadors of Myanmar to the Republic of Zimbabwe. The most recent among them was H.E. U Myint Swe, Ambassador of Myanmar to South Africa based in Pretoria, who was concurrently accredited to Zimbabwe. He presented his Letter of Credence to H.E. Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, on 19 June 2018. The Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to Myanmar is H.E. Mr. Maxwell Ranga, who is concurrently accredited to Myanmar from the Embassy of Zimbabwe in New Delhi, India.
