University of Pretoria (UP) တွင် ကျင်းပသည့် International Students’ Day Celebration 2026 သို့ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့မှ ပါဝင်ဆင်နွဲခဲ့ခြင်း

၁။ တောင်အာဖရိကနိုင်ငံ၊ ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့ရှိ University of Pretoria (UP) မှ ကြီးမှူး၍ International Students’ Day Celebration 2026 အခမ်းအနားကို “Connecting Minds – Inspiring Global Citizenship” ဆောင်ပုဒ်ဖြင့် ၂-၁၀-၂၀၂၆ ရက်နေ့တွင် University of Pretoria (UP) ၏ Pretoria Campus ၌ စည်ကားသိုက်မြိုက်စွာ ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့မှ ပါဝင်ဆင်နွဲခဲ့ပါသည်။

၂။ အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားသို့ University of Pretoria (UP) ၏ အကြီးအကဲ Prof. Themba Mosia နှင့် တက္ကသိုလ်မှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ၊ ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့ အခြေစိုက် ဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့် သံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများနှင့် သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံများ၊ ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများနှင့် အခြားဖိတ် ကြားထားသည့် ဧည့်သည်တော်များ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အခမ်းအနားတွင် University of Pretoria ၏ အကြီးအကဲ Prof. Themba Mosia က အဖွင့်နှုတ်ခွန်းဆက် အမှာစကား ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။

၃။ အဆိုပါ International Students’ Day Celebration 2026 အခမ်းအနားတွင် မြန်မာ သံရုံးအပါအဝင် ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့အခြေစိုက် သံရုံး (၂၃) ရုံးခန့်မှ နိုင်ငံအလိုက် ကိုယ်စားပြုခင်း ကျင်းပြသသည့် ပြခန်းငယ်များ ဖွင့်လှစ်၍ ပါဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပရီတိုးရီးယားမြို့ အနေဖြင့် မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာတူရိယာဖြစ်သည့် စောင်း၊ မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာလက်မှုပစ္စည်းများ ဖြစ်သည့် ယွန်းထည်များ၊ မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာ ချည်ထိုးပန်းချီကားများနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ခရီးသွားလုပ်ငန်း မြှင့် တင်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ စာစောင်များကို ခင်းကျင်းပြသခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် ပြခန်းသို့ လာရောက်ကြည့်ရှု သူများအား မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာ လက်ဖက်သုပ်ဖြင့် ကျွေးမွေးဧည့်ခံခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ရိုးရာယဉ် ကျေးမှု၊ လက်မှုပညာများနှင့် အစားအစာယဉ်ကျေးမှုတို့ကို မိတ်ဆက်ပြသခဲ့ပါသည်။

Myanmar Embassy in Pretoria participates in the University of Pretoria’s International Students’ Day Celebration 2026

1. The University of Pretoria (UP) organized the International Students’ Day Celebration 2026 under the theme “Connecting Minds – Inspiring Global Citizenship” at the University of Pretoria’s Pretoria Campus on 2 October 2026. The Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Pretoria also participated in the celebration.

2. The event was attended by Prof. Themba Moisa, Acting Vice Chancellor and Principal of the University of Pretoria, University Officials, Heads of Mission and Charges d’ Affaires of the Diplomatic Missions based in Pretoria, students and other invited guests. During the event, Prof. Themba Mosia, Acting Vice Chancellor and Principal delivered the opening remarks.

3. More than 23 diplomatic missions based in Pretoria, including Myanmar Embassy, participated in the celebration by setting up country exhibition booths to showcase their respective cultures and traditions. The Embassy of Myanmar in Pretoria displayed a range of Myanmar cultural and traditional items, including the Myanmar traditional harp (Saung), traditional lacquerware, traditional Myanmar tapestries artworks as well as Myanmar tourism promotion pamphlets and brochures. The Embassy also served traditional Myanmar Laphet Thoke to visitors, thereby providing an opportunity to introduce Myanmar’s rich cultural heritage, traditional handicrafts, cuisine and tourism attraction to the participants and visitors.
