Charge d’ Affaires a.i. / Minister Mr. Thein Min Htun, in his capacity as Chair of the ASEAN–Pretoria Committee (APC), led the APC–WESGRO Working Lunch held at the Capital Menlyn Maine Hotel at 11:30 a.m on 22 September 2025.
The event was attended by Ambassadors and representatives from ASEAN Embassies in Pretoria, together with Ms. Wrenelle Stander, CEO of WESGRO, and members of her senior management team.

During the working lunch, both sides engaged in cordial and constructive discussions on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly in enhancing trade, boosting two-way tourism, and encouraging investment between ASEAN countries and South Africa’s Western Cape Province.
