It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Embassy. This platform serves as a gateway to learn more about Myanmar, its people, culture, economy, and the friendly relations that Myanmar enjoys with the Republic of South Africa and other countries to which the Embassy is concurrently accredited.

Since its establishment in 1996, the Embassy of Myanmar in Pretoria has been dedicated to promoting and strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and South Africa, as well as with other nations in the Southern African region.

Through this website, we aim to provide up-to-date information on Myanmar’s foreign policy, bilateral relations, trade and investment opportunities, consular services, and activities of the Embassy. We also hope it will serve as a useful source of information for Myanmar citizens residing in or visiting South Africa and neighbouring countries.
