Myanmar Embassy Opens Book of Condolence Following Devastating Earthquake

The Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Pretoria opened a Book of Condolence at the Residence of the Ambassador, No. 329, Julius Jeppe Street, Waterkloof, Pretoria, 0181, on Monday, 31 March 2025, and Tuesday, 1 April 2025, from 14:00 to 17:00 hrs, in remembrance of the lives lost and the destruction caused by the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar on 28 March 2025.

The Embassy expresses its sincere gratitude to the Heads of Mission, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations who signed the Book of Condolence and conveyed their heartfelt messages of sympathy and solidarity during this period of national mourning.

The support and expressions of compassion received have been deeply appreciated by the Government and people of Myanmar, reflecting the strong spirit of international friendship and solidarity in these difficult times.
